Meet Your Girls Positivity Club Leader, Mrs. Moler

Hi!  I'm Tara Moler, and I'm excited to be a club leader for the Girls Positivity Club. I learned the skills of self-validation way later in life, and I often think how valuable it would have been to have had them earlier!

As a mom of two at Glengary, a certified life coach for corporate moms, and a healthcare engineer, I want my children to grow up with confidence, resilience, and self-love that will support them for years to come.

I want this club to be a supportive place to develop and practice critical life-long skills (and also have some fun doing it!)

Meet Your Girls Positivity Club Leader, Mrs. Fodera

My name is Leah, and I have been a part of the Glengary family for 6 years now. In addition to that, I am an employee at Glengary as a Para-educator in the lower elementary section and have been since the beginning of last school year. I also have four children at Glengary, two in 5th Grade and two in 3rd Grade, as well as two in middle school between Smart and Creek.

I feel my experience as a parent, educator, as well as a college student will allow me to provide our young ladies in the club with guidance and action to develop what they may struggle with to succeed. All those children listed above are girls, and we have three additional ones that have graduated, and I know it’s not easy. Even as a parent and a student, I’ve struggled with self-esteem in the past and feel confident between school and experience that I can empower our ladies to handle the good and the bad with etiquette and uniqueness in the situation that they may struggle.

I’m looking forward to this opportunity to work with both familiar and new faces of our Gator family to empower the young ladies to learn skills and empower themselves with true life skills for success.
-Mrs. Fodera

Give Your Daughter a

Confident Start

In Girls Positivity Club, she’ll grow her confidence, build lasting friendships, and feel seen, supported, and empowered — all while having fun every week.

We know how important it is for your daughter to:

  • Feel accepted and make positive friends
  • Learn how to handle friendship challenges with kindness and courage
  • Gain confidence to speak up, try new things, and believe in herself
  • Develop healthy habits for managing stress and big emotions
  • Be part of a positive community that builds her up

That’s exactly what she’ll experience in Girls Positivity Club.

This is more than just an after-school program — it’s a space where girls learn to shine from the inside out.

A Positive Community

That Builds Confidence

Your daughter will be part of a warm, welcoming group of girls led by a positive, encouraging mentor who believes in her. Girls Positivity Club is a safe, supportive space where she’ll feel accepted, connected, and inspired to grow.

Each week, she’ll build confidence, express herself creatively, and make real friendships — all while learning life skills she can use every day at school, at home, and anywhere she goes.

What She’ll Learn Each Week

Our club sessions are rooted in four core areas of growth:

  • Confidence & Identity
Building self-worth, self-trust, and pride in who she is

  • Emotional Wellness
Learning healthy ways to manage stress, anxiety, and big emotions

  • Leadership
Practicing courage, kindness, and using her voice to lead

  • Friendship & Communication
Navigating friendships, setting boundaries, and growing positive relationships

Topics we explore include:

  • How to handle friendship drama and bounce back from conflict

  • How to manage perfectionism and mistakes with confidence

  • How to speak up, try new things, and believe in herself

  • How to feel proud of who she is — without needing to fit in

đź’› These lessons come to life through fun, hands-on activities your daughter will love.

Creative, Confidence-Building Activities

Each session includes fun and meaningful activities designed to help girls relax, connect, and express themselves. These include:

  • Art and crafts tied to the theme of the day

  • Games and movement to build teamwork and joy

  • Simple mindfulness tools to manage stress and build emotional strength

These activities aren’t just fun — they’re a positive outlet that help girls recharge, reflect, and grow in a space that feels safe and empowering.

Meet the Founder of

Girls Positivity Club

Melissa Jones is dedicated to raising a generation of confident girls. As the founder and executive director of Girls Positivity Club, a nonprofit program empowering girls through confidence-building and connection, she leads a mission to help girls feel seen, supported, and strong — all while having fun.

A global leader, international speaker, and former classroom teacher with over 25 years of experience, Melissa has empowered thousands of girls and families through creative, positive programs that build confidence from the inside out.

Growing up, Melissa struggled with self-doubt and never quite felt like she belonged. Later, as a teacher, she saw so many girls facing similar challenges. That inspired her to create Girls Positivity Club — a safe space where girls could grow, make friends, and feel truly confident being themselves.

Melissa’s work has been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC, Woman’s Day, and Parents — and her impact continues to grow through after-school clubs, summer programs, and community support.

Girls Positivity Club has been great for my daughter! She looks forward to it every week! She loves the positive message/lesson each week but also the creative activities they get to do! Mrs. Jones has been a positive light in so many of our local girls’ lives! She has helped many gain confidence and grow into their own person! It’s a safe space where sharing and conversing is welcomed and easy! I’m so glad we found it! ️ I would recommend it to any parents who are looking for something fun but also meaningful for their daughter to participate in. Exciting things happen when you stay positive and see the positive in those around you!

Girls Positivity Club helped my daughter overcome challenges

"GPC has helped my daughter grow in ways I never imagined. My daughter has three (3) learning disabilities, being in Girls Positivity Club has helped her to know her self-worth, the confidence she always had, but lost when she started struggling in school and has helped calm her anxieties, which she struggles with daily. Mrs. Jones has created an outlet to help our girls and I will be forever grateful for her dedication to my daughter."

What Girls Are Saying

Girls Positivity Club Teaches Me to Be Powerful

Natalie describes what she loves about Girls Positivity Club, including fun activities bubble painting, friendship, and helping her feel brave and strong.

Natalie, GPC Girl

Ariana, GPC Girl

I had a lot of anxiety before I joined Girls Positivity Club, but now I don't have as much. I really only have it when tests are coming up. It helped by calming me down and learning lots of ways to release my anxiety in positive ways. I have fun in the group doing creative activities and by being around kind people.

Emilie C., GPC Girl

"I like the Girls Positivity Club because it helped me gain confidence and made me think about the possibilities. Another thing I like about the Girls Positivity Club is how there are fun activities, and get to know things about other girls in the club and make friendships. I also like how the club is all filled with girls; girls might have the same insecurities, likes, and dislikes; girls can just understand you because… you are a girl!"

Jaliyah, GPC Girl

“Girls Positivity Club has changed me by thinking more positive about myself and not thinking down about myself. People make fun of me because of my weight, but I don't care anymore because the group makes me feel happy about myself.”

Allie, GPC Girl

"Girls group (GPC) has had an amazing impact on my life. It has really helped me be a better person and live a better life."

Sophia, GPC Girl

"Most of my best friends from school so it's really fun. It's fun to meet new girls and do fun activities too.  I was offered to lead a Tot Hop class at my dance studio. Before Girls Positivity Club, I probably would have said no because I didn't have the confidence I do now."
